Life Teen and Edge Core
What is Core Team?
A Core Member is an adult who is responding to his or her baptismal call to serve in youth ministry. Life Teen is a program where one can be in a healthy, ministerial relationship with young people. The goal fo the role is to lead teens closer to Christ. It is a call to evangelize young adults when they need it most: during their teen years. A Core Member has both an opportunity and an invitation to reach teens during this critical, life-defining time. A Core Member is an important role model in teenagers' lives. Their approach to ministry should be rooted in service, commitment and dedication to the Church and the teenagers they serve.
We are looking for people all ages 20 and above. The most healthy Core Teams have a range of ages, backgrounds, and personalities. Any person called by God to serve in this capacity, regardless of age or background, can be an instrument to lead teens closer to Christ. All that is needed is a faithful heart and willing spirit. Are you called?
Life Teen Core
Life Teen Core work with youth in grades 9-12. We meet every Sundays from 6-8PM in the Cenacle for Life Nights. We also meet once a week for our Core Team meetings usually from 7-8:30PM to prepare and plan for Life Nights and events. Contact
Marie Lussier if you are interested in this exciting ministry!
Edge Core Team
The Edge is a program for youth in grades 6-8 that we will be starting in Fall of 2010. We are looking for adults called to serve this age group. We will meet once a week for Edge Nights and once a week to prepare and plan for Edge Nights.
